Coffee Fest Nashville's Opening Night Reception, is presented by Hall of Fame Sponsor SelbySoft, Inc.

The SelbySoft Opening Night Reception is from 5:15pm to 8:30pm Friday, March 17th at the world-famous Wildhorse Saloon where they say "If you can't do it here-it can't be done in Nashville."

Be sure to wear your cowboy boots to participate in the complimentary line dancing lessons beginning at 7:00pm on the Wildhorse Saloon Stage which is the biggest stage in Tennessee. The party is on the third floor and features multiple pool, foosball and shuffle board tables. This Opening Night Reception is shaping up as a legendary event you won't want to miss. Your Coffee Fest badge is required for admission.

The Brew + Beer event is a four-beer collaboration between Bongo Java Roasting Co. and Jackalope Brewing Co. for Coffee Fest Nashville 2017. This tasting and socializing event starts at 8:00pm on Saturday. A ticket guarantees you one flight of four (4) 5oz pours of each of the coffee-inspired beers. Additional beers will be available for purchase.

Fine-Tune Your Barista Skills with Hands-On Instruction

hobt2.jpgWhether you're new to coffee and interested in learning the art of creating world-class espresso drinks, or an experienced barista seeking to fine tune your skills, the Hands-On Barista Training Workshop is designed for you. Students will walk away with an all-encompassing knowledge of creating and presenting the highest quality espresso-based beverages. The four-hour workshop is hands-on, with guided instruction by authentic leaders in the Specialty Coffee industry, ending with group Q & A. Classes are small (eight baristas per trainer) to ensure the highest level of one-on-one instruction and hands-on training. All levels of experience are welcome!

Each session will consist of:

  • 45-minute intro and orientation
  • 75-minutes shots and grind instruction
  • 75-minutes milk steaming instruction
  • 75-minutes process of drink building
  • Comprehensive take home workbook/study guide
