Coffee Fest Anaheim Spotlight

Coffee Fest is excited to announce the competition results from its just completed show - and first ever event in Anaheim - that took place September 30 - October 2, 2016. With three days of enthusiasm from attendees, competitors, exhibitors and sponsors, Coffee Fest Anaheim was a tremendous success for all. The specialty coffee and tea trade show hosted a series of competitions designed to enlighten, educate and entertain. Below you'll find the winners that were crowned at Coffee Fest Anaheim, including the first ever America's Best Cold Brew Competition.

America's Best Cold Brew

cbwin.pngThe very first Cold Brew Competition debuted at Coffee Fest Anaheim, and had an amazing turnout! Be sure to stop by the competition venue at an upcoming Coffee Fest Show to sample and cast your vote for Best Cold Brew! The finalists at Coffee Fest Anaheim were: 

1st Place: Klatch Coffee -Rancho Cucamonga, CA

2nd Place: Scotty D's Jamaican Coffee - Cypress, CA

3rd Place: Passion House Coffee Roasters - Chicago, IL

Best New & Featured Products

More attendees visit trade shows to see and evaluate new products than for any other reason. At Coffee Fest, new and featured products are judged by industry experts based on innovation and retailer appeal. New products debuted within the past eight months are broken into two categories (consumable and non-consumable) and any product to have entered the market past this time, are considered a "Featured Product." Coffee Fest Anaheim saw the western region debut of the "New Product Showdown" sponsored by SelbySoft, Inc. Over 25 companies had five minutes each to extol the merits of their new products to the panel of four judges and the audience in attendance. Once all the presentations were complete and the dust had settled the Best New and Featured Products were recognized and rewarded as follows:

People's Choice Award

peoples.jpgAlso new at the western region Coffee Fest was the chance for attendees to cast their vote for their favorite new product. Attendees chose from the 31 new products that participated in the New Product Showdown, which were also displayed in the Product Showcases all weekend. Know Brainer, The Thinker's Creamer proved victorious with their organic creamer by the same name. Be sure to cast your vote for Best New Product at your next Coffee Fest!
