Hands-on Barista Training: Alternative Milk Steaming Science + Latte Art
Alternative milks have gone from a popular trend to absolute necessity in the past few years, and their unstoppable rise has resulted in many barista designed dairy milk alternatives that are easily steamable and have great mouthfeel for coffee. There are now dozens of popular alternative milks as great substitutes to cow's milk, but how can a barista ensure consistent, high-quality performance when working with alternative milks of all different types, consistencies, and styles? Join us for a 90 minute workshop where you be given an overview on alternative milks and how they perform compared to cow's milk, as well as learning multiple styles of latte art. You'll learn some tips and tricks for working with and getting the best from alternative milks, and you will also have hands-on time at the machines to explore steaming, foaming and frothing.
