Latte Art 2166

Taught by our LAWCO (Latte Art World Championship Open) judges, Hands On Barista Training: Foundations is a comprehensive 3-hour class covering the essential skills of creating espresso-based beverages.

This barista foundations class is designed to give the skills needed to understand best practices for basic bar skills. Classes are small to ensure the highest level of one-on-one instruction and hands-on training.

Topics Covered:
· Espresso Extraction & Tamping Techniques
· Basic Grinder Fundamentals
· Understanding Key Milk Building Blocks
· How to Steam & Pour Properly Textured Milk
· Basic Drink Building

In this workshop, the barista will have time to work with the machine and receive hands on coaching. We recommended this workshop for baristas with little to no experience who are looking to develop strong espresso machine skills. This workshop is a mixture of lecture and hands on training.

Important Notes for Hands-On Training Classes:

This session is on the show floor before hall opening. Please wait by the "Meet Here for Education" sign near registration to be escorted past security.

To ensure the best learning experience for all participants, late arrivals will forfeit their seat, as sessions begin promptly and cannot accommodate disruptions. No refunds will be given. These small-group sessions are in high demand, and we strive to fill every seat. We cannot be flexible on our latecomer policy.

We recommend arriving at the venue at least 10 minutes before your class time (or at the Meet Here for Education sign if your session starts before 10 AM). If you have not checked in or notified us of tardiness by this time, your seat may be released to the waitlist.

For All Access Pass Holders: Hands-on sessions are included with your pass, but you must notify us in advance if you can no longer attend so we can offer your seat to the waitlist. No-shows will have future hands-on reservations canceled. If you miss a session, please contact us ASAP so we can adjust your remaining reservations accordingly.
