Coffee Camp: Roasting, Cupping, & Brewing at Buckman Coffee Factory
Hosted at Portland’s Buckman Coffee Factory, this three-hour offsite experience is perfect for beginners and curious coffee drinkers looking to build a deeper understanding of how roasted coffee is made and tasted. You’ll explore how different brewing variables affect flavor by tasting coffee brewed with various manual methods, practice palate development through side-by-side coffee tastings (known as triangulation), try your hand at pulling espresso shots, and see how different roast levels shape the final cup.
Buckman Coffee Factory is a co-roasting facility and longtime hub for business, barista, and roaster training in Portland, known for making professional coffee education accessible and hands-on.
