Jen and Lee tag team the content and delivery. Jen’s approach focuses on the leadership skill building, facilitating partner and small group conversations, and designing tools that will allow the attendees to observe and practice new skills. Lee shares coffee business stories to demonstrate how the particular leadership topics are showing up front office/back office.

Jen is known as a catalyst and confidential advocate who helps leaders focus their efforts on where they make the most impact. Her direct, straight-talk approach and practical “learn by doing” programs have advanced the careers of managers leading in companies, including Intel, Lands’ End, Wells Fargo, and Microsoft.
Before TIAMAT Leadership, Jen led marketing and creative teams in fast-paced technology startups across Fortune 500 organizations such as Sprint, Orbitz, and Oriental Trading Company. Jen has a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from The University of Texas at Dallas, an undergraduate degree in Marketing and is an ICF Accredited Professional and Executive Coach. Jen works and plays across the Pacific Northwest. You can usually find her coaching or paddling with the Gig Harbor Dragon boat team or hiking with her rescue pups.
Lee is the founder of MAP IT FORWARD and the CEO of Elixir Specialty Coffee Inc. An 18-year veteran of the Australian Specialty Coffee industry, Lee is now based in San Diego, California where she runs both businesses and records daily episodes of The MAP IT FORWARD Podcast featuring guests from around the world specializing in all sectors of the coffee value chain. Lee travels the world doing professional business and career development focused workshops and consultations for the global coffee industry.
Lee has a bachelors degree in Science (Genetics) from the University of NSW, an associate diploma in counseling and interpersonal relationships, extensive experience in project management and business analysis in the corporate sector, and was a releasing music artist and record label owner.
Wes Herman has been an entrepreneur from age 21 when he bought his first business. Since then he has started or purchased 7 businesses. He is the founder and CEO of Woods Coffee. Wes started Woods Coffee with his wife and four kids as a home school project. Woods Coffee is a PNW brand that owns and operates coffee shops from Bellevue, WA to Blaine, WA, with stores in 4 counties.
Wes's education has been hands-on by doing and not as much by studying. He believes there are many opportunities for people like himself who have not enjoyed traditional schooling and have looked to learn in other ways. A life-long student of business, Wes has a passion for helping others achieve their goals.

Arianna Hartstrom, a native to the Pacific Northwest, founded Costa Oro Intl, LLC, in 2002, while pursuing Spanish, Economics and Marketing degrees at Portland State University. Her dream of building a green coffee warehousing business first took root during her travels to Costa Rica where she lived in a coffee producing region in 1999.
Since 2002 she has grown the company from a 500 square ft. sub-leased footprint of warehouse to over 70,000 square ft of decidated green coffee and warehousing and distribution, in a market that didn’t have any green coffee dedicated warehousing solutions prior to 2002.
Arianna was recruited within the industry to serve on the Pacific Coast Coffee Association Board of Directors from 2015-2016 and is currently involved with the Next Generation of Coffee Professionals through the National Coffee Association.
Arianna is the mother of two boys, Jaeden & William, age 13 and 9 respectively, and spends most of her non-business related time supporting them on the baseball field or basketball court.
