Rob Arnold is the owner of Pregame Coffee in Louisville, KY. He's originally from Iowa, attended Iowa State University, and then joined the U.S. Navy. Upon leaving the Navy, he went back to school for Exercise Physiology and worked in health & wellness for 18 years. Before getting the itch to open a brick-and-mortar coffee shop, Rob was writing a book in local coffee shops around Louisville. Pregame Coffee was born from Rob wanting more from his own experience at coffee shops. Whether it be catching a game on TV or grabbing a tasty coffee cocktail, he noticed there was a hole in the market. He decided to bring aspects of a sports bar and a traditional Italian cafe and bring it to the world of specialty coffee. Pregame Coffee opened in September 2020, during an obviously bad time, and then had to move locations 18 months later. Opening a business is never an easy venture but Rob never envisioned it would be this challenging. As the saying goes though, smooth seas don't make good sailors. When not serving creative coffee and cocktails, Rob runs Master's Track & Field, plays adult baseball, and volunteers with various veteran organizations.
