Coffee Fest New York 2025

March 23-25, 2025 Javits Center

NEW YORK 2022 COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

IMPORTANT UPDATE -  MARCH 4, 2022

IMPORTANT UPDATE - March 4, 2022
Effective Saturday, March 5, 2022, the Javits Center will drop the vaccine and mask mandate for events as per the State of New York policy.

The New York City-wide mandate will be lifted on Monday, March 7th – which may impact your visit to restaurants or other indoor spaces.

That means that beginning on Saturday, all exhibitors, attendees, speakers, media and staff entering the Javits Center for Coffee Fest New York and the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York, will no longer be required to show proof of vaccine to enter the building.

Wearing of face coverings, while recommended, is at your personal discretion.

We realized there is a lot of information being shared about mandates – please rest assured the information we are sharing is coming directly from the Javits Center.

We are thrilled that we will be able to see the specialty coffee community in person at Coffee Fest in New York. It’s been far too long, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone.

Rest assured, the health and safety of all our attendees, exhibitors, and staff is and will always be our top priority at Coffee Fest events. We are following CDC as well as state and county guidelines, and at present, these are the COVID-19 precautions we and everyone who attends the show are required to undertake in order to promote a safe experience.

Please keep in mind that we are constantly reviewing and reevaluating precautions and protocols as they relate to the current COVID-19 situation which continues to change rapidly. These precautions, mandated by the City of New York, are updated when there is new information available. We encourage you to revisit this page prior to traveling to the show for updates.

COVID-19 VACCINE REQUIRED

All attendees, exhibitors, guests, staff, crew, and all others 12-years-old or older entering the Javits Center for Coffee Fest must show proof of vaccination. This is per the City of New York’s Key to NYC initiative in place across all restaurants, museums, theaters, and all other indoor venues throughout New York City.

UPDATE 2/3/22:
Children: Children ages 5 to 11 are now required to have proof of vaccination for public indoor activities. They must show they have received at least one dose of a vaccine.

UPDATE 2/3/22:
Full Vaccination: People 12 and older participating in the below public indoor activities are now required to show proof they have received two vaccine doses, except for those who have received the one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Starting January 29, 2022, children ages 5 to 11 must also show proof of full vaccination.

Your proof of vaccination must show that you have received at least TWO DOSES of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by the FDA or WHO.

Proof of vaccination accepted includes:

  • NYC COVID Safe App
  • Excelsior Pass
  • CDC Vaccination Card
  • NYC Vaccination Record
  • Official immunization record from outside NYC or the US

If showing a Vaccination Card or Report, either your physical card or a photocopy or digital image on your smartphone will be accepted.

Your proof of vaccination will be checked once upon your first arrival to Coffee Fest NY, after which you will be given a wristband confirming your vaccination status has been verified. Keep this wristband on all weekend, and show it at the entrance during any additional arrivals to bypass the vaccination check.

ATTENDEES UNDER 12-YEARS-OLD

Attendees under 12-years-old will be allowed at Coffee Fest NY as long as they provide proof of a negative PCR or rapid antigen test taken within three days of their first day at Coffee Fest NY. Attendees under 5-years-old can attend without a test result.

Tests for attendees under 12-years-old can be…

  • At a government-run testing facility
  • At a pharmacy like CVS
  • At-home tests from Amazon or other online retailers

If showing a negative test, accepted test results include…

  • A digital photo
  • A printed copy
  • A screenshot of an app
  • A screenshot of an email

FACE COVERINGS

All attendees, exhibitors, guests, staff, crew, and all others 2-years-old or older entering the Javits Center must wear masks while at Coffee Fest NY, and please see the City of New York’s recommendations for preferred face coverings.

All face coverings must properly cover your nose and mouth. A mesh mask is not an acceptable face covering. A face shield is not an acceptable substitute for a mask.

Face coverings can be removed when eating or drinking and by panelists while socially distanced on stage, but face coverings must be worn at all other times at Coffee Fest NY – including when taking part in any photographs.

Staff will be checking this throughout Coffee Fest NY, so please be sure to keep your approved face covering on even if in cosplay.
