In 1990 Erika started in the industry like many as a barista. Her career began with Austin Chase Coffee in Gig Harbor, WA and quickly progressed from barista to trainer, to wholesale to new store start-up. Since exhibiting at her first Coffee Fest in 1993 Erika has worn many hats as part of the Coffee Fest family over the years. She has taught hands on barista training, emceed the educational portion of Coffee Fest, and hosted the America's Best Coffeehouse competition..  Prior to joining Coffee Fest full time Erika helped support, hire, train, develop and oversee 18 locations for the Forza Coffee Franchise.  Now as the show director at Coffee Fest, Erika gets to combine her many  connections, energy and passion together in one place.  Erika graduated from Trinity Western University with a degree in Business Management.

Double short Americano or on the few days the sun comes out in Seattle - two shots over ice sprinkled with raw sugar.

Erika likes to ski, run, paddleboard, find new local brewery's and spend time with her husband and their two kids.
