Alexa Gutierrez

Alexa Gutierrez is a wholesale coffee roaster, educator and entrepreneur committed to helping small business owners, understand the real-life challenges and opportunties of owning a cafe. She is the co-founder of KALIROASTERS and KA'FE Roasters, and the owner of a coffee shop in Arcadia, California, where she brings together culture, community and commerce through coffee.

Alexa's journey in coffee began by learning directly from her father, who has 20+ years in the roasting industry and helped craft their own Cafe de Olla recipe. With his mentorship and her own drive, she stepped into the world of Coffee roasting, hands on training, and business development eventually turning her passion into a career rooted in education and empowerment. 

She noq partners with startups and hospitality brands like Casa Leal Co. to build intentional, profitable coffee programs through menu development, layour design stafftraining and product sourcing.

As a proud latina, single mom and former personal trainer business owner, Alexa is on a mission to bring more resources, education and opportunites to Latino communities, especially within an industry where they've long led on the agricultural sife but often remain underrepresented in leadership and ownership. She is deeply passipnate about opening more doors for women in the male-dominated world of coffee, and believes in building businesses that are not only sustainable but culturally rooted and community-driven.
