Chi Sum Ngai

Sum is the Co-Founder, CEO, Head Roaster, and Green Coffee Buyer at Coffee Project New York. She is an Arabica Q Grader, a Q-Processing Generalist and an Authorized SCA Trainer (AST) in Barista, Brewing, Sensory, and Roasting Skills. Sum is also a continuing competitor in the US Roasting Championships. In addition to her hands-on work in running operations, she speaks in various trade shows and educational events, where she shares her expertise on running a coffee business and coffee roasting philosophy.
