Cole Werfelman

Cole Werfelman got her start behind the bar at a café in Scholls, Oregon, and has spent the last 12+ years immersing herself in the specialty coffee world - barista work, international café gigs, roasting, and community building.

Now Head Roaster and Head Technician at Portland’s Marigold Coffee, she’s hands-on with everything from roast profiling to green buying. Cole is also a longtime collaborator with Pacific Foods' Barista Series™, contributing her practical insight to product development and helping shape the tools baristas rely on.

She brings a deep love of learning, experimentation, and coffee nerdery to everything she does.
