Emma LaVoie

Emma LaVoie, Dessert Oasis Coffee Roaster's Education Manager, has been active in the coffee industry for about 7 years, working as a barista, cafe supervisor, roaster, and educator. 

Emma has been active in national coffee industry spaces, including WOC and competing in the World Latte Art Championship.

She currently focuses on writing curriculum for Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters (DOCR) and is celebrating the launch of their newest coffee education program, DOCR Academy.

In addition, Emma manages DOCR's internal coffee education for their baristas across four locations. She also covers current events happening in the Metro-Detroit coffee scene, along with educational, specialty coffee articles in DOCR's blog, Certified Good Stuff.
