Howard Chang

Howard is CEO & Coffee Director at Shared Roasting, a coffee roasting business with roasting capacity of over 1000 lbs. per hour and two roasteries in Brooklyn.

Shared opened its doors in 2019, currently supports over 200 unique coffee businesses in 14 states, and also serves as the North American production and distribution arm for international brands based in Europe and Asia. 

Before finding his passion for specialty coffee, Howard worked in finance for 7 years, serving as an investor and advisor to global transportation, logistics and leasing businesses in North America and Asia.

Howard especially loves working with coffee entrepreneurs, such as cafe operators, and figuring out ways to provide them with the best possible advice, products and services to make their visions a reality.
