Jackson Davis

Jackson founded Kismet Coffee Company in the summer of 2022 as a seasonal side hustle, operating out of a pizza and ice cream stand on the ferry dock of Kismet, Fire Island. Armed with a consumer espresso machine and a dream, word quickly spread across the barrier reef island, drawing hundreds of summer residents who biked down the sandy path to his coffee oasis.

By fall 2023, Kismet Coffee opened its first year-round location in a 100-square-foot takeout space on Main Street in Bay Shore, just across the Great South Bay from the original coffee stand. Shortly after, the third Kismet Coffee debuted in Ocean Beach during Memorial Day Weekend 2024. In just three years, Jackson has launched three tiny but mighty coffee shops, growing the brand and its community one cup at a time.
