Alejandro Griffin-Diaz
Alejandro has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Human Resources from
Galileo University, Guatemala City. He was the head coffee trainer from 2008-2012 at &Cafe in Guatemala City overseeing all the coffee training for the company’s growing 27 cafes.
In 2010, Alejandro competed and won the Guatemala Latte Art Championships. He flew to Houston, TX in 2011 and represented his country at the Specialty Coffee Association’s annual latte art competition.
In 2016, Alejandro found his way to Ossining, NY where we served as Barista at First Village Coffee. This new cafe quickly gained acclaim from industry professionals and the community. It was also the cafe where Jake and Alejandro first met.
After opening our shops. I been competing in Coffee Master both in New York and London for the last 3 years and progressing into the finalist each time. representing Guatemala and Upstate New York.
