Kimberly Camara

Kimberly Mendoza Camara is a Filipino-American pastry chef and co-founder of KORA, a Queens-based bakery celebrated for its Filipino-inspired doughnuts and pastries. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and a veteran of NYC fine dining restaurants, she launched KORA during the pandemic with her partner Kevin Borja, transforming family recipes—especially those honoring her grandmother—into a vibrant brand bring bold, nostalgic flavors to the forefront of New York’s food scene.
