Mike Nelson

Mike Nelson is a coffee professional with over 20 years of sourcing, roasting, training, and barista experience. He currently works as a consultant and educator at the Buckman Coffee Factory. Prior to that, he founded and co-owned Junior's Roasted Coffee and Guilder Cafe where he initiated the producer to consumer transparency project, the Cost of Production Covered Project (CoPC). He holds an MSc in Sustainability Science and Geography. He lives in Portland, OR with his spouse, Caryn, and his cat, Edi.
