Rachel Melissa
Rachel Melissa is a business attorney in Tonkon Torp’s Environmental & Natural Resources and Information Privacy & Security practice groups.
In her environmental practice, Rachel assists industrial clients in matters relating to contaminated site cleanup, regulatory compliance, and liability considerations. Her work has focused on the federally-managed cleanup of the Portland Harbor Superfund Site, as well as a wide range of state permit and enforcement matters involving issues such as stormwater management and solid waste. Recently, Rachel has been focusing her environmental work on assisting businesses in their compliance with the new Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws in Oregon and other states that target product packaging.
