Zac Parsons was born and raised in Mesa, AZ in 1980. He graduated from Kentucky Christian College in 1998 and worked as a youth pastor in suburban Detroit and suburban Phoenix for a few years in the 2000s. 

After a few stints in the mortgage industry, real estate, and digital marketing, Zac found a niche in teaching at Evansville Day School in Evansville, IN. He obtained his Masters degree in Organization Psychology from Grand Canyon University in 2011. 

After meeting Jessica (now wife), and hearing her dream for a coffee shop, they agreed to partner together in founding the Honey Moon Coffee Co. in 2016. The business has grown to four retail locations with over 75 employees, an AirBNB, a roastery, and was recently featured on the How I Built This: Advice Line Podcast with Guy Raz.

Zac has three adult children, as well as three adult stepsons with Jessica. They married in 2018 and continue to live in Evansville, IN.
