Zakiya Mason
Zakiya has been a coffee professional since 2010, spending the first decade of her career under the mentorship of several US and World barista champions. She spent years as a barista learning hospitality and service principles before transitioning into training and leadership roles. She eventually managed all things coffee, including green buying, quality control, and menu development. Within this role, she had the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with members of the coffee community from around the world. She finds sharing coffees, stories, and facilitating meaningful conversations between producers, roasters, and the global community to be deeply rewarding.
