Zakk Johnson

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Zakk began his coffee career with a small wholesale coffee company, where he built a strong foundation in roasting and production. He joined the Sunergos Coffee team in 2022, where he took over management of the company’s roastery.

In his current role, he leads education and training for a staff of approximately 80 baristas while also overseeing the Quality Control team. His work spans every stage of the coffee experience—from roast quality and consistency to the company’s seasonal drink program—helping drive high standards, innovation, and excellence across all areas of the business.
