This session covers drum roasting fundamentals including roaster anatomy, batch sizing, installation needs, and capacity planning. Learn about  machine control concepts such as roaster inputs, data logging, and real-time sensory cues.

Attendees will also learn how green coffee sourcing works, from building importer relationships to managing quality and risk. The focus is on real-world decision making and repeatable skills, giving participants the confidence to evaluate equipment, improve consistency, and make smarter roasting and buying choices.
